First initiative is to return all dry packaging back to the manufacturer of the product. By sending empty packages back to the main offices of the manufacturers, by the stench of the pile and its disgusting display out on their lawns …we hope they will be more determine to developing a recycling programs that will assist in the publics concern to reduce waste as well as reduce raw natural materials to be used. This should eventually force manufacturer to be responsible for the waste of the purchased products instead of the public or the city spending the cost for the development and maintenance of recycling and waste management.

Recycle it back to the people who made it in the first place.

^ and wait for the prices of these goods to skyrocket out of your price-range.

If people would recycle themselves there wouldnt be so much crap on their lawns in the 1st place.

Or here is another gem, dont buy anything and you wont litter in the end.

We have accepted manufactures to ship excessive goods to our communities because we want the merchandise even if its the generic brands. We've given manufacturing the ok to ship everything even if we don't need it. It has cause US to pay for the high volumn of trash in our landfills, streets, and stench in the air. In california we import food we already make....and we export food when we know there are children starving in california. If you check out your food packages, try to find a a home complete with all california products.
