A QUESTION 4 XBOX 360 OWNERS

so i got myself a xbox 360 last night, the premium version. what i wanna know is why does my 20gb hard drive say it only has 11gb of free space when i haven't put anythin on it yet? saints row is a sik game

Because of the preloaded demos I believe. Just delete all the media files in there.

the most you can get free is 14-15 gigs. the rest is preloaded software that actually runs the system and some of the space is kept for temporary files so it loads the games faster. its the same shit when you buy a computer or hard drive, it says 120 gigs but you only get 115 or whatever. i bought a 500 gig hard drive and it only came with 486. also it keeps the system updates and backwards compatiable stuff on it too.

its like that with any hard drive. my ipod said 30 but had like 28 and my comp was 500 and its 480 or somethin and i got my 360 down to like 16 gb so yeah they should start makin 25 bg and just say its a 20.
