Lets see how people feel about all these polls that keep coming out showing how close things are. Our poll will be acurate at least.

With the media really pushing how close this election is, i've heard it suggested that they(the media) are manipulating these polls just to influence people.

What's your opinion on the media and polling? Accurate? Kinda accurate? Totally manipulated?

i think this is a 5 point race for kerry.

to me the polling is worthless due to these facts.

the amount of people on the internet is up over 40% scence 2000. and so is the amount of info on kerry and bush.

the youth vote this year is gonna blow peoples minds. voter resteration is up like a motha fucka. on avg. it like 50-50 kerry and bush but the most amazing shit is theirs been more people register as independant than demo or republicans. i think a large majority of those independant registered peope are gonna swing to kerry in a big way.

to be a likely voter in the majority of the polls you gotta have voted in the last election. and if you look at the poupler vote in 2000 it was basiclly 50-50 bush gore. so to me thats the way it looks now in the polls cause these are the people being counted as likely voters. its the new voters thats gonna decide it this time. and they are packed with kerry soupporters.

this time the youth will vote big and so will the poor and minortys. thats a big ass slice for kerry.

i dont see how bush could have gained that many votes scence 2000. if anything i think his base is the same as last time and hes picked up a few hundrent thousand others.

kerry by 4-5 points thats my prediction.

and well know the winner by 1 am nov 3rd.

I say fuck a poll, the only poll I'm interested in is the exit poll come Nov. 2. For now the media makes it seem like a close boxing match and I am a boxing fan and know even the talking heads sitting ringside get it wrong. The only thing that matters is a knockout or the judge's decision in boxing. In elections, its the scandals and the final vote tally that matter.

Think about it, has anyone on this forum been contacted to officially speak on a poll? Probably not, I know I haven't, the polls could be numbers manipulated by the couple of corporations that own the media. Selling controversy to sell advertisment. I'd rather watch Surreal Life than a poll show on any network.
