Yep, you're right. There has been word from extremely trustable sources on the toolnavy forums that APC is going to release another one. Its going to have vocals but they will be very ambient and beat-driven.. aka "the music comes first", as it always does in bands like that. The word comes from the same two guys that posted the exact 10,000 Days tracklist over 5 months before it was released, and no one believed them. Some people think its actually a couple members of APC itself.
Either way i can almost guarantee APC will have a 3rd official album, without Maynard, but I bet you ANYTHING he will feature on at least 2 of the tracks. In fact I fucking guarantee it. He knows whats up with it.

New Music From A PERFECT CIRCLE On The Way? - Dec. 9, 2008
TOOL frontman Maynard James Keenan told The Pulse of Radio last week that he and guitarist Billy Howerdel have been working on some fresh material for A PERFECT CIRCLE, the group they formed in 2000 while Keenan had time off from TOOL, but which has been inactive since 2004. However, Keenan revealed that the band might just post a couple of new songs online instead of doing an entire album. "I doubt if we'll do any touring or, you know, do a full album," he said. "We might do some one-off shows here and there if the timing's right and it seems like a good vibe and a smart thing to do. But most likely we'll just kind of concentrate on, you know, one or two songs at a time, rather than investing all the time and money and effort into making those plastic discs that no one cares about anymore."
A PERFECT CIRCLE released its debut disc, "Mer de Noms", in 2000, followed by "Thirteenth Step" in 2003 and a collection of anti-war cover songs, "Emotive", in 2004.
Members of the group have included MARILYN MANSON bassist Jeordie White, a.k.a. Twiggy Ramirez, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen and NINE INCH NAILS drummer Josh Freese.
Howerdel launched a new band called ASHES DIVIDE earlier this year, although the group is rumored to have broken up already.
Keenan has set February 13 and February 14 as the dates for the live debut of his side act PUSCIFER at the 2,500-seat Pearl concert theatre at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas. The shows will reportedly feature a loose collection of musicians, comedians and other artists in a cabaret-type performance.
TOOL has been on vacation since early 2008, although Keenan said that he expects the band to begin writing a new album sometime next year.

However, Keenan also said that the band has no plans to resume full-scale touring, or even to write and record a new album. Instead, they will focus on "one or two songs at a time", which will most likely be released via the Internet, rather than on compact disc. Keenan jokingly mentioned that CDs have become "plastic discs that no one cares about anymore."[5]
On September 17, 2009, Keenan confirmed that new material from A Perfect Circle was on the way during a live radio interview with BJ Shea on Seattle rock station KISW.[49]
On August 3, 2010, Howerdel stated at his Twitter account that "The APC dust is shaking off!". Later on, Josh Freese posted via Facebook "I'm happy to report that A Perfect Circle is waking up from it's 6 year slumber...and we're going to be 'doing stuff' soon." The official A Perfect Circle Twitter then posted an update saying "Go tell Aunt Rosie... The old grey goose is dead not" with links to the Twitter accounts of Billy Howerdel, Josh Freese, Troy Van Leeuwen's band Sweethead, Matt McJunkins, Danny Lohner, Paz Lenchantin and Maynard James Keenan. A later tweet was also directed towards James Iha. All of them were past members or contributors to A Perfect Circle with the exception of McJunkins, who was a touring member of Howerdel's other band, Ashes Divide, and Keenan's Puscifer project.
On September 13, 2010 the band later announced tour dates in which they would be playing the entirety of each of their three albums at each concert, with one album being played per night.[50] It was also announced that the line-up would consist of Maynard James Keenan, Billy Howerdel, Josh Freese, Matt McJunkins, and James Iha.
There have been conflicting reports as to what degree the band will be releasing new material. In June 2010, Keenan stated that he was working on a fourth LP for A Perfect Circle [51] However, when asked again in August 2010, his answer was "Maybe. Personally I’m not really into albums anymore. Might be more going back to the singles. The days of the singles market makes a lot more sense at this point. We have no label, so neither Billy nor I are really into kicking down hundreds of thousands of dollars to record a record and put it out."[52] Howerdel, in a September 2010 interview, said that he had been working on demos for the last 3 to 4 years, and that it was up to Keenan as to which songs would be A Perfect Circle songs, and which ones may end up being Ashes Divide songs.[53] It's still undecided as to if new songs will be played at the 2010 concerts, as none of the songs are finished yet, and the band is trying to "remind everybody" who they are at these concerts.[54] There is also the possibility of a live concert DVD and more concerts in 2011, depending on how far along Tool and Maynard are with their next album.[55]
