From wrestlinginc.com:

Eric Young Gone From TNA
Eric Young has reportedly parted ways with TNA Wrestling after his contract expired late last month and the two sides couldn't come to terms on a new agreement.
Young was reportedly offered a significant pay cut, but declined. There is a chance he may return as both sides are currently negotiating.
Young's departure surprised and saddened a lot of employees at last night's iMPACT! taping in Orlando, Florida as many viewed him as a "company guy."
He had been partnering with Orlando Jordan in recent months in a comedy tag team.

Hardy talks the state of the business:
Regal Announces "Retirement":
William Regal announced to the crowd at Tuesday's RAW live event in London, England that the ongoing British tour would be his last because he is retiring soon.
Having started his career wrestling on the carnival circuit in England at the age of 15, he competed across the globe before joining World Championship Wrestling in 1993. After parting ways with the organization in 2000, he joined World Wrestling Entertainment, where he became commissioner. He has been with the company since then.
Throughout his 27-year career, Regal has won more than 60 titles worldwide, including 15 in WWE and 4 in WCW.
He recently signed a 42 month contract renewal with WWE, which puts him under contract until 2014.

Oh and Raven is fired too.

It was 15 grand and it drew so much publicity from the entertainment news shows that you have to chalk it up to advertisement. They got their money's worth.

And I'm sure Raven was let go because they are just done paying the EV2.0 people. They'll release all of them week by week, with the exception being Dreamer. He'll probably be the "mole" in the EV2.0 story if they even bother to go on with that storyline.

my bad 15 grand...but the point is, if they got money to just use up 15 grand out of nowhere, what kind of message does that send to their talent who are given salary cuts like eric young? and they got 15 seconds of fame on that stunt...im pretty sure the ratings have been rising and rising ever since....lol

Eric Young isn't getting national publicity on major networks for what amounts to peanuts in the advertising department. They didn't want to pay Nash or Sting either.

Eric Young was hardly even being used. Fuck 'em. It's not as if WWE hasn't paid for useless celebs one day and fired someone else the next.

titles are written into scripts has very little to do with talent or entertainment. and yes hes been around long as hell and can actually wrestle. But like we agreed on hes BORING. Same goes for flair honestly but he has some entertainment value to carry him. If this was Europe im sure he would be the goat and their flair

real or fake you dont get 60 titles all over the world by being boring or having no talent.

I think you just havnt seen the right matches.

Regal is a fantastic worker and has had great matches with Sting, benoit, Guerrero, Ultimo Dragon, Psicosis, Jericho and many others. his time in WWF/E was so so but he was great in WCW and brilliant in japan.
