Been trying to work on every aspect of game design. Mainly using Torque and XNA(XBOX360) This is for a level I'm working on. Made in Torque Constructor. It's free @ www.garagegames.com. I got an ancient writing texture I'm going to apply to it instead of the bricks. What you think?

I love ancient temples an pyramids. So I figured I would give it a shot and try to model one. I used some reference images I found on the net. I think the steps need a lil work. I can't wait to see what it looks like in the engine. I'll fool around with that part tonight.
What do you think? I used reference photos from around the net.

Do you know any good tutorials for modeling people in 3-d?

go to the Artforum. There is a list of links there to some 3D sites with great tutorials. What program are you using to learn modeling? Character modeling can be dificult at times, depending on what you are going to do with it. If you shooting for something of film quality you need a lot of detail on the model itself as well as shaders. If you doing game modeling then you can use low detail characters and leave the detail for the textures. If you want to jump in real quick and see some results today. Look for a program called "Poser" you can create some nice humans in there.

It's not a level so to speak. Torque Constructor is used mainly to make interiors or building structures. You then import those into the game engine. TORQUE .You can get a fully functional demo of the engine here.
www.garagegames.com Torque Constructor is free. If you register at the site....they used to charge for it until April 1st. Everybody thought it was a joke when the announced they were giving it away for free.

how much do u'd charge a mother fucker for an animated music video?

Sorry not that advanced. Game characters only...and even those need a little help. I'm more into the programming aspect.

Can't give you the all of the details, but I'm currently working with a company doing something similar to what you are trying to do. I believe the models were made in 3-d max and maxwell render. All I know is I'm in charge with syncing the audio , working with time code and all that fun stuff.

Now if you are SERIOUS about this, and want to discuss it further, I can turn you on to the company, have you talk to one or both of the head men DIRECTLY and you guys go from there.

If you are in southern cal thats all the better because they are located in the suburbs of san diego.

Drop me a pm and I'll connect you from there.
