I remember that incident.....Kenny G was gettin' at 'em TOUGH, then me, Floss, and Josey went up to the front to see what they were gonna do, and they didnt do nothin'.....stopped rappin'. That's when me and Floss pulled out cheese and was lookin' for bets on Josey, but no one wanted to take the bet, even though the crowd plus the promoter were friends of Kenny G, and the winner was determined by applause.
Josey stepped up, ripped Kenny G a new one in front of his friends, and they booed Josey for makin' they potna look bad.....all the while the mannekins stood there like ....uh....mannequins.
I aint one for beefin in my city, but there is a lot of arrogance comin' these dudes. They want the city to support them, yet they dont recipocate(sp?)
the support that the other artists are trying to give them. Even that night at Shady Brady's, y'all just stood in the corner while the rest of us RIPPED our sets and supported each other AND YOU that night.....but y'all didnt network or even MOVE from the corner.....but I guess we arent your type huh? Most of the cats that I fuck with to this day, I met at that show....Floss, Josey, Sluggerville, Bigg Mann, Gizmo, Sleepy, and Super fuckin' Sav.
Y'all are gonna have to get off that high horse, and come down and build with the people if you want us behind you. How do you expect to take it to the next level if your City aint behind you.
Just because YOU dont see us, doesnt mean we arent out there workin' just as hard as y'all tryin' to make the City pop as a WHOLE, not just as individuals.
