Actually it has to do with numerology. Which is part of ancient mysticism. In ancient times numbers meant more than just number. They had alphabetical value to them, and also had mystical meanings as well. Such as the number 3, which means incomplete or even strife.

In the tarot cards you notice the suits only went up to 10. 10 is the number for accomplishment. 1 is the the beginning.

That's why I always laugh at theist who try say the anti christ will come on the 6th month of the 6th day in a year ending with 6. Or when they ad up all the ages of the people in the bible to determine how old the earth is. They haven't a clue of ancient numerology.

They are simply stating that they lived for a long time. Same thing with it raining for 40 days and night. It rained for long time.

Numbers in ancient time, as I mention have alphabetical value. you have to take your name, and go by a chart and number off each letter of your name. Calculate the total and come down to a single digit. My real name equals 7. And like star charts discribes you personality.

Now if you caculate the number 666, in the ancient way, using the charts they used, you will come up with Nero Ceasar. An emperor people feared so much, they were afraid he would rise from the dead and reek havoc upon the world. Thus proving once more that the bible is based on its time.

Do not go into a debate with this on me. Because I won't. I'm not a theist or occultist, not any more. Yeah I dabbled in the occult. I still check out those sites every so often.

I don't know what the point of the author is considering 666 has NOTHING to do with the majority of his post.

Maybe you should be clearer and actually make points rather than posting empty comments.

I saw your post before you edited it. You’re point was that nero died before the apocalypse of john was written. I responded and stated that the author clearly mentions this by stating “they were afraid he would rise from the dead and reek havoc upon the world.”

AND you have people who believe the writing came BEFORE the death of NERO and place the writing between 54 a.d. and 64 a.d.


The assumption that nero was the "antichrist" was not held by the majority of the early church and the identification with nero and 666 didn't come about until the 1800's.


Once again people should read and research material before they accept it AND post it.

But, I'm trying to get you to explain to us (or me at the very least) why these things are incorrect. It irritates me when people say this and that are wrong but offer no explainations.

What gets me is how everyone is waiting for the "666" mark of the beast when in fact were you not born with the number of man in conjuction with your birth? What is a social security number for? A drivers license? Credit card accounts? All numbers associated with your life, financial well being, ect.
Man created these enigmas to boggle your metacognitive process when it comes down to listening to the TRUTH. Triple sixes are symbolic to the imperfection of man, as triple sevens are the symbolic reference tothe perfection of the Divine Creator.
