ive been to a few studios that look nice and pretty with the big mix board but you can only use 24 tracks.i get cats recordin all the time askin if they can use more than 3 tracks per verse.I LIKE TO USE ALOT OF LEFT AND RIGHTS IN MY MIXES SO ILL USUALLY HAVE THE ARTIST LAY ATLEAST 5-6 TRACKS PER VERSE.i can use 3 dont get me wrong,but production wise it sounds better with the added tracks.just my opinion.
