don't have a link to it yet but i just saw it on the news. a spokesperson for Weebie said that he was on stage performing when the shooting took place and they have footage of it. he hasn't turned himself in yet so i'm sure that's not making him look too good. another New Orleans rapper going down .. shit sucks.

In response to news reports regarding warrants issued for Jerome Cosey aka 5th Ward Weeby for



accessory to murder in a St. James Parish bar. Through his publicist, ChiQuita Simms, Mr.



Jerome Cosey aka 5th Ward Weeby declares himself as an innocent man. “Weeby’s life was just



as much at risk as the other patrons in the bar and the victim, declares ChiQuita Simms. There is



video footage of Weeby performing on stage at the time of the incident to prove his innocence.” His



record label and the entire rap community is in 100% support of Weeby. Cosey intends to



cooperate 100% with St., James Parish authorities and is in the process of turning himself in under



the direction of his attorney Edwin Hawkins. More details to follow as

they do this fucking bullshit all the time. they take folks that are in the spotlight and fuck them over. they take folks and have two strikes and plant shit on them so if they don't rat someone out they get fucked. Louisiana has the most corrupt police system around.

i remember back in like 2000, i was down there doing some stuff with code 6 and tre 8, and tre 8 needed a ride back to his place. I was staying in a La Quinta off Veterens and he down across the bridge, so we bring him back to his place at like 2am, and there was no problem getting there, dropped him off and whatever the fuck, but when i tried to leave the westbank, they had a road block up and didnt allow anyone to pass unless they had a valid ID, insurance and looked "safe".......Now I am a safe looking dude, but old boy with me (Jr Mack) made the cop nervous, pulled us over, questioned Jr for about 20 minutes and didnt say shit to me........i just thought it was funny
