I guess I wasnt paying too much attention,and am a lil late,but I wanna really know..why do people hate G-unit and 50cent so much? I actually liked 50 more when he was not signed to aftermath but he got skills.Why do we hate him for living the american dream...and doing so well...shouldnt we congratulate? Yayo,Banks,are O.k,but I dont hate them...I just dont buy there music.Young buck is pretty tight.The whole roster includes some overall tight rappers.Spider Loc.....I heard he was tight..heard a few songs and made up my mind he wasnt all that...however I heard a song called WHAT IF, and thats a really tight song.with a roster of M.O.P.,and Mobb deep, and of course rumors of jayo-felony,Kool G rap,and others,damn You gotta respect not only the legends in the game but the business saavy of bringing Them all together.Is there some kind of animosity cause the beef between Game and 50? I feel alot especially on this forum pull for game cause his affiliations,Overall game is a good rapper,a bit imature,but who is perfect?How did we get drawn into there beefs that we take sides?......Put out good music, aint that what its all about?

Me I can care less about beef rappers have with each other, and any niggas out
there fan bangin is fake 2 me. But anywayz The reason I think people aint really
feelin 50 (cent) is because he is just like any other fad, they play out. on top of
that, mojority of u people is going off of hype listenen 2 what he said and she said,
and they are saying hes a snitch. So now all of these lame brains are just following
suit. But you'l think some of these mufukas got bad personal history wit dude
how bad they be talkin on him.

One thing that I give 50 full credit for is making Club joints,i club a lot so I know first hand that this fool gets the bitches up in the club shaking that ass.

I don't like the way 50 rap. PERIOD! It is annoying as hell. But he only proves the point that production is everything. The beats 50 utilizes would be hot with anyone on them. He just so happened to get a hold of them first. I don't have anything personal against the man, because I don't know him. But from what public record has to say about how he did Bang 'Em Smurf and stories of him dry snitching makes it hard for a lot of people to accept him. He has had some good songs out,"In Da Club" , "Magic Stick" etc... In my opinion he hides himself behind hard hitting beats. And as far as buisness tactics are concerned. MONEY TALKS. The main thing for me though is the Bang 'Em Smurf situation. That just doesn't sit well in my stomach. More power to him. I just won't contribute a single penny of my hard earned money to his success.

Appreciate all the feedback,you all kept it real,as I hoped.I guess my intent was to see if we can get to the root of the problem.It is true 50 is a hippocritic, that guess who back was tight,he has put out some good music,including songs with singing in the hook,If I was up in a club Id rather listen to his club songs then some laffy taffy...so his songs have substance.Mr snowman you definatley hit the nail on the head a few times in your post.5000 block yeah M.o.p. is grimy ,although I love mobb deep especially there older work.
R.kelly is accused of some grimy shit,michael jackson is accused of more or less the same grimy shit,coopdvil......nah just playin, 50cent is accused of snitchin,I aint throw away any r.kelly c.ds,michael jackson will always remain in rotation,50cent...well...he will probably pass like a fad,but will make my personal mixtapes from time to time...especially that gentleman song.
So I guess my point is support good music,thats how it was in the beginning of hip hop,now it seems like the rappers bio and personal life is primary as opposed to the music,and some feed into it....O.k. I aint a big loyd banks fan....so I dont start makin threads of how gay he is or wack....I would hope we would leave that mess on a eastcoast rap site....we got alot of rising stars who need support on the west coast,Glasses malone,wallet,Bishop lamont,etc,etc, Now if you dont love the west coast music..I respect that,if you aint trippn on the west coming back I aint trippn..But if you got love for the west and its music and wanna see it re-ivent itself and get that respect it once had, we need to support our own,Im not saying exclusive,I aint gonna support you just cause you from the west,Im gonna hold you to the standards that I hold anyone else too,I invite all those on the siccness to do the same..Be more honest when someone posts a song...Ive been told by some artist I mess with that Im negative....No..I got love for them and give it to them real....cause we get too much homie love...how does that help us perfect our craft? I feel what you sayin 50Cal. Although I don't listen to a lot of artist, I don't see the use in shootin down a person or his career. I agree we need to support more of these up n coming artist and give them a fair chance. In the end it's all about making good music. And this So. Cal board should be on fire everyday. I can't believe it's not. It almost could be called the Dago board. There's more to So.Cal than just San Diego . and there should be a whole lot more networking going on in here. But I can think of a few reasons why it's not happening. 1. It is So.Cal , people always on the go or comin from somehwhere. 2. Banging or beef 3. That I gotta be tha man,own my own, do shit my way attitude that prevents the really good ones from hooking up in the first place.

Just plain dont like that shit. I have never purchased any 50, g-unit, or eminem product. I have never even downloaded any of their stuff (with the exception of 1 instrumental). Its just as simple as not liking it because of personal taste.
