the first drive was koo, looks like they finally realized that smith is more comfortable and delivers, defense looking decent too, lets see what happens....

I agree. So far the strategy hasn't been too bad and aside from a couple predictable plays, the playcalling hasn't been too bad. I doubt it lasts though. Smith looks a lot more comfortable starting out with a spread.

got this off cbssportsline, from whoever writes the "rapidreports" for each game. had never really thought about this.


49ers FB Moran Norris = offensive death. They put him in for his first snap of the game on a second and 7, and, predictably, RB Frank Gore got stuffed for no gain. A three-and-out for the Niners is almost a certainty whenever Norris sees the field.

Niners are playing like they should have been playing from the start....

The running game is good, but it will not work all the time...

Jimmy Raye finally grew a pair of balls tho...
