says the bitch whose team hasn't even scored more than 3 in the past two games.^
Niners fans like you make respectable Niners fans look bad

sol wasn't even hating, he said Atlanta would win by 3, which is very likely to happen... a lot of people probably think Atlanta will win this game, they are a good team...

and why do you bring up the Raiders here? The Raiders have nothing to do with this game whatsoever

I think every Raiders fan here admits our team is not good right now, and every Raiders fan here that I've seen has given props to the Niners

so why turn this into a Raiders vs. Niners thread? fuckin idiot...

since our team is doing bad we're supposed to pick your team to win every single game...?? just stop posting for the sake of other niners fans on here, dumb ass

The Niners are starting to remind me of Manny Pacquiao. Anytime an opponent has any sort of chance at winning, people who aren't fans of the team predict the other team to win. I'm used to it.

we have to contain tony gonzo and m turner... if we slow them down, we should be ok. also, i would like to see a little better ypc outta coffee. i know he a rookie, but 1.8 or 2.1 a carry wont cut it. we need to also pass more on 1st down.

^Don't sleep on the Falcons' D.

Statswise, their top three tacklers have more tackles than the 9ers' top three tacklers, and that's just in three games, the 9ers have four games under their belt so far. Just a lil something to keep in mind. :classic:

Usually more tackles = defense on the field longer than offense = bad. See Patrick Willis' total tackles in his 1st two seasons. Shitty ass 9er offense those years.

So you're going to rule out the Falcons' D because "usually" more tackles = defense on the field longer than offense = bad? Falcons are good on both sides of the ball, just like the 49ers are. I'll admit P.Willis is pretty much the better LB of the NFC, maybe the league, but c'mon. Come back down to earth.

And I almost forgot. The Falcons' offense isn't something to overlook either, considering how well the 9ers' offense has been running. Matt Ryan has 648 total yards in three games, and Shaun Hill is 700 total yards in four games. Michael Turner has 226 total rush yards in three games, and Frank Gore has 241 total rush yards in three games. Tony Gonzlez has 160 total yards in three games, and Vernon Davis has 211 total yards four games. So it looks like their offense was on the field just as much, when the 9ers have one more game played. I can't imagine the Falcons not overpassing the 9ers' numbers in this game. If Matt Ryan can't surpass 700 total yards after this game, than he sucks big time. If Michael Turner can't surpass 241 yards in this game, than he sucks big time. If Tony Gonzalez can't surpass 211 yards in this game, than he sucks big time also.

Remember, I am not taking anything away from the 9ers D by saying that, I am just saying, the Falcons have a good team, on both sides of the ball, as well as the 9ers.

No, you are the one comparing their top three tacklers with the 9ers top three. I threw in Willis into the convo because I was saying the 9ers D was on the field for so long the past couple of years that he's gotten so many tackles. I was not saying he's the best or anything like that....

And Frank Gore didn't even play in the Vikings game, lol. He got injured on his only carry.

Oh and you can't compare the offenses really, the Falcons do have a better offense, but the 9ers have a better defense.

Yeah, I was looking at the ammount of carries between the two, and Tuner has more carries and still less yards. But Gore got a lot of those yards against a depleted defense, which is more than what I can say for Turners carries. Not taking anything away from Gore, though. He's a beast. But I still think this will be a close game.

Stats wise..

Atl gives up alot of yards (both pass & rush), but averages keeping teams to 17.7pts. Offense, they rank in the mid 20's for Yards and average 19 points a game.
