I was at rasputins in berkeley a couple days ago and I saw some 3x cd I'd never heard of I think it was put out by double barrel and that may have been te name of the cd. The cover had a picture of the stackin chips and immotalized covers on it and almost all the songs were off those two albums with a couple of exceptions. One of the exceptions was 'call the coroner' which had something like 'second repeat' in parentheses below it, t wasn't a subtitle. Does anyone know if this is the same version of 'call the coroner' that was on the southwest riders compilation? Has anyone actually heard this bootleg? Ive been looking for that song since I lost my sw riders cd.

I doubt any of them own the masters. Wasn't stackin chips put out by dollars and spence? I'm betting that whoever runs (ran) them owns those masters. There were several record label logos on the back of the cd I think one was double barrel and I can't remember the others. Is double barrel BAs label?

Also another question i've always had: on the stackin chips tape ager was called 'the adry man' was this just a typo on the tape or was that what he was calling himself? What did it say on the cd or on the sick-o tape?

I'm pretty sure Dubble Barrell was The Gov's label
Thanks playboy, is it possible the Gov owns the masters to a bunch of early 3x songs? I guess it could be a bootleg too although the record label logos make me think it's not.

I'm leaving the bay and heading back to Seattle tomorrow so If anyone has heard this let me know whether the call the coroner version is any good and whether it's worth picking up. The cd is only 5 bucks but on principle I don't wanna spend the money on a bunch of recycled tracks.

I believe Handle Bar records and Double Barrel were both The Govs lables...... They way older cats say he used to smash on most of the town rappers. I wouldnt doubt he owns the early masters.
