we are working harder this year to make this one bigger and better and to get the west coast hip hop movement back as one fist where we can take our fans back from the radio stations that dont play our music! and get the venues back to let us do shows up and down the coast and get support from all the west coast cities so we can help each other succeed in the music business rappers from seattle and portland should be able to go to the bay and do shows with fan support ,as we support them when they come up here, and vice versus we need our fans back with full support and that includes the rappers putting out quality music for fans to appreciate and good shows there is more than enough talented producers, rappers, singers out here and we must find ways to support each other but i understand the frustration on the music buyers side they dont want to buy a cd with only 3 good songs and the rest fillers, but then again most up and coming rappers cant afford high ass verses from the famous rappers either or spend 8 million for a dr dre beat, the south figured it out lets work together we all win they are not paying hella money for t pain hooks they get love from him because there down south artists, then he charge everybody outside his region ridiculous prices,we need the kings and prince of the west rappers to give back cut them verses in half so we can flood the market with great products beat makers and producers show love on them tracks ,because this fruity loop shit is killing the game, everybody using the same beats, but these are some of the things we will be discussing during the awards this year, and also the radio stations not playing our music we dont live in atlanta why do we have to listen to thier music on our west coast airwaves all day? or the same top 20 songs in rotation? will they play our music down there like that? can we boycott all the west coast radio stations until they play our music? and im not saying play all west coast but damm its more than just snoop that rap out west?i hope people come out and support the awards its more than just handing out awards its about supporting our own it takes a lot of blood sweat and tears to go into this business and hella sacrafice on the rappers side studio time, advertisement, put all that work into the music and then theres no outlets to get it to the masses for thier take on your work, its a tuff thing but there is hope and people who do care about our music we must preserve it and make it grow, support local rappers, but also give them constructive criticism if they need it.hope to see you there if not keep supporting what u love peace....................

no law troubles this summer..syke should be in the buildin
I was wondering why you weren't there last year. I thought you were boycotting because of the previous years award shenanigans, but then I found out you were down for a minute.

I really think that the event stage needs to be OUTSIDE if it's going to be at the Jackson Armory again. The sound was horrible last year because of the room and needs to be addressed professionally.
