3G iPhone In Next 60 Days

WSJ gadget reviewer, Walt Mossberg said last week at the Bleep.TV executive summit in Washington, that Apple will release the 3G iPhone in 60 Days.

Maybe he already got one in his test lab. On the other hand 60 Days from now is June, which is the anticipated launch time frame for the 3G iPhone for many several reasons.
The WWDC 08 starts on June 9th and the iPhone 2.0 software and SDK launching in June as well. Now what is missing for a big splash is a new hardware gadget - the 3G iPhone.

edge sucks compared to 3g.....there's hella 3g coverage in major cities......I wish they'd expand it tho.....I'm sure it'll be dumbass fast on the iPhone, cuz edge is pretty fast on there

nah Matt I don't have an iPhone....Basically been waiting for a 3G model

the 3G coverage is MASSIVE now as long as you don't live in Bumfuck, Arkansas

Edge on the iPhone has been impressive but the speeds don't hold a candle to 3G...Dialup to broadband basically

Then again, if you just use the net on the iPhone when you're on a wifi connection then you'll see no difference

If you are not in 3G coverage, it will still work on the older system as this is what happens when in and out of coverage areas.

im just saying the 3g would be nice but the speed difference from loading a website might go from 10-15 to 3-4 seconds. not much difference. and if you need to use your iphone that much for the internet you should invest in a computer.

at the same time sprint will have the bb curve and the new samsung phone thats to compete with the iphone.

this wait is too much. if sprint delivers at the same time, then im stickin to sprint.
