I can't wait to get my copy.

US release date is tentative as 06/01/11 but that date is expected to move.

For those of you who don't know or haven't heard, Catherine is an adult themed horror puzzle game. Developed by the Persona team. It's about a love triangle betweeen Vincet (you) Katherine, your 32 year old long term girlfriend pressuring you into marriage and Catherine a 22 year old girl.

Yea this game does sound interesting but noway I'm gonna pay $85 to import it lol.

Sad thing is that 2 years ago the standard import price was 59.90. Then a year later it jumped to 68.90. Over the course of last year it rose to 74.90, to 79.99 and now it's currently shifting from 84.90 to 89.99. Worst part is that it's not that JP sellers are raising their prices, the American dollar is just losing value. :/

Out selling MvC3

Team Persona's HD debut topped the charts in its first week of release, selling 141,826 units on PlayStation 3. The Xbox 360 version debuted at seven with 21,936 units.

It was a week full of new releases. Marvel vs Capcom 3's PlayStation 3 version debuted in 2nd with 67,187 units. The Xbox 360 version debuted in 8th.

Also debuting in the top 10 were PS3's Two Worlds 2 in 6th (the Xbox 360 version was in 15th) and Idea Factory's Haku Ouki Zuisouroku DS in 9th. PSP's DJ Max Portable 3 debuted in 14th.

Despite Atlus' initial claims that the action-adventure/puzzle game Catherine would not be coming to the U.S., it's now officially set for release this summer on Xbox 360 and PS3. There was some criticism of the game being too hard when it first came out in Japan, which led to Atlus working on a patch that would make it easier.
