This 21-foot monster crocodile has been caught by hunters in the Philippines.

The saltwater beast was snared by a team of 30 men on Saturday after a marathon three-week hunt.

Caught alive, using meat bait and a metal cable, the 600kg croc is now thought to the largest of its kind in captivity.

It has been transfered to a nature park close to where it was caught, where it is now said to be the star attraction.

We used to joke at CompUSA back in the day that filipinos get left in the woods by their parents at the age of 7. Some find their way home and lead normal, productive lives. The ones that dont just kind of wander around aimlessly, forever lost, walking in odd patterns and without any discernible direction.

Being the sad truth that their arent any crocs way bigger than that specimen lurking around the tropical wetlands anymore... Not much undisturbed space to support them...... That also applies to any large land/marine animal from anacondas to blue whales......
