The refs called Ngata for a late hit on Kaepernick but didn't call the late hit on Flacco when Flacco was out clearly out of bounds. Niners lost the game fair and square and we wouldn't even be talking about the calls if the lights didn't go out. The Ravens were running through the Niners and shutting their offense down.... that's why they only had 6 points in the first half.

Actually no its complete opposite. This past Superbowl the refs let the players play. They didn't sway the outcome. The Seahawks Superbowl the refs did sway the outcome by making bad calls that had huge impacts on the game. We weren't complaining about No Calls, it was the terrible calls that were made. I mean Hasselback throws an INT, tackles him and they call illegal block on Hasselback. Lol shit like that it was comedy. The refs even came out and publicly admitted they did horrible. One ref says he still loses sleep over it.

All I want, all most fans want, is for the game to be played and not determined by penalties. I hate games when the refs call every little thing. Might as well watch the NBA.

I've accepted the loss, am moving on and have nothing to complain about. Loss was on us and honestly the Ravens were the team i'd choose to lose to if I had to pick. We'll be back better believe it.

What I thought would of been a crazy ending was if Ted Ginn had signaled for a fair catch on that punt after the safety the 49ers would of been able to attempt a field goal from that spot without the Ravens rushing the kicker, no snap and the ball on a tee. It would of been a crazy long field goal, but without the rushers the kicker can drive the ball with a lower trajectory ala a regular kick off. Remember David Akers did make a 63 yarder earlier in the year. Crazy to think about it.

yeah someone was saying that to me during the superbowl, or maybe that was the announcer, I don't remember. So, if he calls a fair catch, they get to kick a FG from what yard line? And does it have to be a traditional FG formation? Or would be like a kick off formation? Has it ever happened before?

But for real, that would have been a TRIP! I think Jim would have got massive props just for trying it.

What does that have to do with us? I dont know if you know this or not, but the head ref in SB XL actually admitted on kicking calls.

Blah blah refs, blackout, none of that matters Ravens won fair and square. Sometimes you just get beat. First and goal and the Ravens stopped em.
fair and square my ass...even with all the evidence that clearly shows the refs not doing their fucking jobs...bottom line...i can overlook PI and a holding call on crabtree...but the holds against miller on the return is pure bullshit, that touchdown should have never happened...

Ravens defensive back Cary Williams was surprisingly not penalized or ejected for shoving an official during the Super Bowl. Also surprisingly, he wasn’t fined.

An NFL spokesman confirmed to PFT that there was no fine for Williams for his actions during the game, which easily could have resulted in a 15-yard penalty and could have led the referee to kick him out.

Williams said last week that he didn’t realize he was pushing an official when he found himself in the middle of an on-field skirmish. Williams said he was angry about having his helmet ripped off and didn’t know who he was pushing in the heat of the moment.

But the rules say it’s a penalty for a player to put his hands on an official, and there’s no exception for a player who says he didn’t realize who he was pushing. Williams got lucky on Sunday, and he got lucky again when the league office decided to let it go.

complete bullshit

This comment from PFT puts it perfectly

"

So Gore gets a fine for his socks… And Cary gets nothing for PUSHING A REFEREE! Fix the fine system."
