Will Clark and Orel Hershisher must get in. And I don't know who Bruce Sutter is, but he should get in only because he's been on the ballot 13 times. You can't tease someone like that.

Andre Dawson....no reason he shouldn't be in the hall. The guy played most of his career with bad knees. Fuckin guy hobbled his way to an MVP.

If Will the Thrill gets in, Hawk needs to be in also.

I think Oral gets in, but not on the first ballot.

I think Joey errrrrr Albert Belle should get some consideration. He was one of the most feared hitters in the 90's. Injuries cut short his career also.

Does anyone know how players get nominated? Hal Morris, Gregg Jeffries & Gary DiSarcina??? Really? HAHA!

Very valuable to thier teams at the time but HOF no way!!!!!!

I agree The Hawk has to get in. I also have to show some love for my Mets and Say Gooden should get there.

How has Mattingly, Rice, Murphy and Parker been overlooked for so long???

I agree, players from the 80's that I grew up watching get no respect in today's game.

All because their home run numbers aren't high or they only hit .280

Shit .280 in the 80's was like .340 in today's game.

You would think baseball writers and these voters could understand that.

Plus with this steriod shit you would think more players like Murphy, Dawson and Rice would get in because they "played the game right" like Ryno said at last years induction.

I would like to see Andre Dawson and Jim Rice get in first. I think Orel might get the nod. Also I would love to see Lee Smith make it, that dude was a dominating closer. Joey Belle and Mattingly should both get serious consideration, but they just didnt play that long and have the longeviety that a HOFer might need. 50 HR's & 50 Dubs is pretty strong.

they dont get nominated, their names are on the list exactly 7 (??) tears after they retire.

they must get a certain amount of votes to remain on the ballot the following year

Doc Gooden had a chance to be "great" he had HOF "stuff", and he blew it and became a "good" MLB pitcher instead. all because he wanted to smoke crack more than be a great pitcher

they were all very good players. not great players.

HOF should maintain its very high standards

sorry but i dont think suttor should have made it. goosage maybe/maybe not. IMO goosage was better than suttor

maybe i am just bias but i dont think relievers should be in the HOF unless they are exceptional. i mean most relievers are relievers because they wernet goo enough to be starters

Eckersly Yes he was special as a closer, but he was also a very good starter

the only other reliever that i can think of that deserves to be in the HOF when he retires is Mariano Rivera
