Ah yes, the ol' Kia Rio. Its a tricky little vehicle. If you look in the owners manual it will show you that you need to pour the wiper fluid into the same place under the hood where you pour the oil. Kia engineering somehow designed the oil intake to seperate the wiper fluid from the oil when you pour it in. It flows down a shaft where there is a intake valve that lets the wiper fluid pass through, while screening out your motor oil. You know how water and oil dont mix, its the same type of logic. If you stick your finger down the hole far enough you could actually feel the tiny screen that allows the wiper fluid to pass through. I know it sounds a bit crazy, but trust me, this is how you do it. I wouldnt believe it myself if I didnt see it in the manual for my own Kia.
