Can anyone tell me where the rear winshield wiper fluid goes in this car. 2 dealerships claim its on the right hand side behind the brake light but on the inside. I tore that bitch apart and still dont see it. I know it has one cause you can see the pray thing for it and it has a button for it next to the stearing wheel. This is my girls car so any help would be apreeciated.

Isnt it in the same container the front washer fluid is in? I drive a toyota and it uses the same resevoir for both front and back.

no its not the same. We filled the front one to the top and it works fine for the front and doesnt work in back.
maybe your looking in the wrong direction. Are you positive their is a rear resevoir. It could be that the switch is fucked up on the wheel, maybe the rear pump is no longer functioning.

Ah yes, the ol' Kia Rio. Its a tricky little vehicle. If you look in the owners manual it will show you that you need to pour the wiper fluid into the same place under the hood where you pour the oil. Kia engineering somehow designed the oil intake to seperate the wiper fluid from the oil when you pour it in. It flows down a shaft where there is a intake valve that lets the wiper fluid pass through, while screening out your motor oil. You know how water and oil dont mix, its the same type of logic. If you stick your finger down the hole far enough you could actually feel the tiny screen that allows the wiper fluid to pass through. I know it sounds a bit crazy, but trust me, this is how you do it. I wouldnt believe it myself if I didnt see it in the manual for my own Kia.

I almost bought a 04 Sunfire, but then I sat in one and felt like Hightower in Police Academy. Also, those cars have one of the worst safety ratings of any car ever.
