Thats absolutely right.

And what the hell does being an Atheist have to do with america?

Listen, just because I am against our government, doesn't mean I am against americans. There are plenty of things I am grateful for, but at the same time I'm realistic. I don't pretend to live in some fantasy la la land.

Don't worry about it. I have explained my reasonings many times in the past, but I don't expect you to waste your time searching for previous posts. I honestly believe, if you knew half of the shit I know, you would be angry with the government as well. Just remember, I am against our government, not the people.

America is NOT the country anyone thinks it is. That's why 2-0-sixx along with many others including myself think the govt is fucking out of control. The REAL problem with our country is that most people are hypocrites. Our own gov't cant even fuckin seperate religion from state. I just was told yesterday that in the supreme court there is a place engraved with the fucking 10 commandments. What kind of gay ass shit is that? We've got idiots running our country. They are in it for themselves for the most part and that it the real issue. How many officials in our country are Christian? Or religious at all for that matter? I would say ALL of them...So of course they have a bias, that's where everything starts to fall apart.

If I could move to a different country, I totally would. Either Canada or some other place cause when the shit hits the fan here, it's really going to fucking suck, and NOBODY is going to be able to do shit. I just wish I had enough $$ to move away with the people I love the most. This country, as a whole, is pretty fuckin lame...There are good things of course, that's obvious, but we live in a hypocracy, and I'm not down with that...We just need a completely new government.

I love America.

I hate our government, Bush, the Republicans, the Democrats, the idiots, the fundamentalists, etc.

The average American knows more about "Jerry Springer" or "Survivor" than they do about the most basic politics. It's a fucking travesty.

And people like you greg, say "Hey, if you don't like it, leave!"

Like "Hey, if you dont like bullshit war, deception and lies fed to the American people, a government that hides away its dealings and uses propaganda and fear-mongering and a news media monopoly to influence the people, just leave!"

If your Father was going to kill someone in your house, would you "just leave"? He runs the house doesn't he? He must know what's right! You must be a fool for speaking out against him!

If you left america where would you go -- To a country that has been ravaged by militarism and corporate exploitation? I don't know if you read 2 0 sixx's post about how many countries America has a military presence but it sure doesn't leave much of an option of where to go to escape the confines of america. The only way to fix this problem is to try and make a change -- running away never did anyone any good.

Both left & right (although mainly directed toward my fellow social-liberal-commie-capitalist-democrats)

I wanna know...

What people are doing to take proactive measures to make change. Change does not happen by it self. Raising awareness about the nefarious actions our system implements indeed plays an important roll in "revolution," however, I reiterate who is actually doing something?

Actions speak louder than words, ere'body can talk the talk but who's really walkin' the walk?

My intent is not to antagonize anybody, but I just wanna know who's actually doing something?

I see a lot of people exhert an exhorbent amount of energy preaching to the choir (so to speak), but who is making phone calls, sending emails, or writing letters to their congressmen or local media source (i.e. local news channel, or periodical like independent publications, or even mainstream publications like NY Times), who does fundraising or grassroots promotions.

WHO IS ACTUALLING HELPING A CAUSE THEY BELIEVE IN???

(p.s. if your awnser is simple "What's the point" or "Who f**king care's, ain't nuthin' fin to change anyway!?!" than not responding will plenty suffice. I'm just curious as to who & what individuals on this board are actually makin' moves are what they're doing and how they go about it? Your input is valued and appreciated...)
