Saw this the other day, one of the best comebacks in sport history and the NFL I'd imagine. Not really a fan of NFL but I watch it sometimes for a bit on tv, too many stoppages for my liking plus they wear helmets and sholder pads.

If you like that style of play (the last play by CAL) then you would love one of our sports called 'Rugby League', not to be confused with 'Rugby Union', Union is for the affluent and very very gay, alot of stoppages and Rugby League is more faced past, the most physically intense sport we have. It is not the most famous sport in Australia, but it is the best, AFL is the most watched sport here but that sucks, bunch of fairies jumping for a ball and slapping each other with tight shorts and singlets.

But anyway, check out these vids of Rugby League, let me know what you think. (btw it is not Rugby Union, it's totally different, rugby union is shit).

cheers.

my team the greatest team on earth, the Dragons.

Sonny Bill Williams, arguably one of the best in the game at the moment, some of his signiture big hits.

some of the big hits in this year 07, the season is over so here are some assorted ones.

they wear pads and helmets cause, if cats the size and with the speed and strength the players in the NFL do played rugby, fools would end up dead

^^yeah we have rugby here too. its just not that popular. football is way more exciting.
and helmets and pads are a matter of safety. we dont need every athlete having brain damage by the time they are 25

Trust me, Ray Lewis, or whoever, would demolish any rugby player with a hit.

Russell Crowe himself would agree with this.
real shit

i mean can anyone even run a 4.4 or 4.5 or even a 4.6 in rugby???

doubt it, u add that and the fact these cats in the NFL are like 8% body fat sittin at 6'3 260 and can run a 4.5

its light out for a rugby player

haha cmon man, are we talking about the same sport here? not RUGBY UNION, RUGBY LEAGUE.

our guys run for 80 minutes, 2 halves of 40 with maybe 5 minutes of stoppages each half.

rugby is hella hardcore. IMO the NFL is pretty much for pussies. you get to stand around for at least 30 seconds and take a break after every play (if you are even in every play), and they have 5 million gay ass rules. i mean cmon really how manly is the sport when they will call the play dead because the o-line lined up in an incorrect formation? that and pussy shit like calling a timeout right before they kick the field goal. GAYYYYYYYYYYY.

and also whats most fucked up about the NFL is most of the time when players get injured its by accident. theres a big tumbling pile of people and someone just rolls up on dudes leg and tears the ACL. in soccer or rugby if you get injured its 99% because someone is taking you out.

That has zero to do with toughness and 100% to do with stamina...cmon now....
I would agree if we were talking about soccer, but we are talking about Rugby League where for those 80 minutes you are beating the shit outta ya opponent and the same is done to you, so this = toughness + stamina ;)

If any of you guys ever come to sydney I will take you to a game and show you what it's all about, season starts next year.
