That fun n gun shit is entertaining and all but it dont win championships. Yeah they lookin good right now but still couldnt go toe to toe wit Dallas or SA in a 7 game series. Phoenix and SA play pretty soon I think. Yeah the Spurs aint hittin on all cylinders right now but I rather have them hit their stride towards the end of the season not the halfway point. Spurs got tha Rodeo road trip comin up and that always goes good.
I got 2 give it up to the Suns. They are playing good fast paced ball but having 2 15 game win streaks ain't squat in the playoffs...... My Spurs right now are looking a little sluggish but I know once the playoffs is on we're gonna pick up our game! Its gonna be a great playoff race this year in the West thats for sure.
As for how the Suns will fare in the playoffs..
Look.. the past two seasons, the Suns are the only team to reach the western conference finals. When we played the Spurs, the team was underdeveloped and we were missing a key starter in Joe Johnson. Last year, we had THREE key players injured (Amare, Bell and Thomas). How the fuck can you act like that sets the scene for THIS season?
You cant keep looking to the past to predict the future. Suns are the same team they were a season ago. Not only are there new players, but the existing players have evolved that much more. The cohesiveness is unreal.
But if you really wanna live in the past, then keep this in mind.. over the past three seasons, the Mavs are 2-8 when Suns starters are healthy, and 4-2 when at least 2 starters are injured.
And the victories the Mavs DO have over the Suns are small, 2-3 point wins.. OT wins. Same goes with San Antonio.
One more thing, the Suns havent lost one game this season by more than 6 points. They win on an AVERAGE of 10 points. THAT is what I call domination.
