A 50-year-old man was arrested for the 13th time for driving under the influence following a crash in Santa Rosa Friday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Robert James Feenan, a Santa Rosa resident, was arrested following a non-injury crash on the off-ramp to Stony Point Road from state Highway 12, according to the CHP.

Feenan was determined to be under the influence of alcohol and arrested. He had been identified recently by the CHP as a habitual DUI offender, having been arrested 12 previous times for DUI in Humboldt and Sonoma counties since 1983, according to the CHP.

The agency had been actively seeking him to monitor him and prevent him from violating his probation.

Feenan was booked into Sonoma County Jail on suspicion of DUI with a prior felony DUI conviction, driving on a suspended license, and violation of probation, according to the CHP. The vehicle he was driving was also impounded.

WTF, 13 DUI's. Don't you lose your license after so many points get added to your driving record? You'd think after the first couple times, he'd get a clue.

What are y'all doin' in Cali? Betta tell ol' Arnie to get on that quick, fast, and in a hurry, lol.

^ like carlosrossi just wrote the article says he had a suspended license and was on probation for it.

I feel that if youre really that serious of an alcoholic that family, money, safety, jail etc. won't stop you from your habit than just drunkenly bow out and start riding public transportation and maybe on occasion a rusty cruiser bike for those late night corner store tall can pickups lol.

They actually had a write about this subject in the SanFrancisco Chronicle a couple weeks ago. Home boy sounds like the leader there were a couple with 11 and a gang of licensed drivers in cali with 10 spread through out the state. Finish the class go to court pay the fine get a sr22 and keep rolling. the state dont permanently suspend there licenses because its a money maker for the state.
