Microsoft and Warner Bros. have teamed up to bring you "13 Days of Gears," a sweepstakes that kicks off on February 1 and gives Gearheads thirteen chances to win just about the best prize package ever—including a Samsung 40" 1080p HDTV, a Marcus Fenix bronze statue, Locust Drone bust, and much more. And all you’ve got to do to enter is register and play some Gears 2 online multiplayer.

Registration for "13 Days of Gears" is now open and runs through January 31 at the official sweepstakes page and on Xbox LIVE. Players can register for the promotion through either method and access a variety of Gears 2 content via Xbox LIVE. Then from February 1 through 13, all players need to do to be eligible for the daily prizes is play a public match of the predetermined Gears of War 2 multiplayer mode for that day. Thirteen Grand Prize packages will be awarded (one each day), consisting of:

• A Samsung 40” 1080p LCD HDTV
• An Xbox 360 Limited Edition Red Wireless Controller
• A Marcus Fenix bronze statue from Mindzeye Studios
• A life-size Locust drone bust from TriForce Sales
• The Gears of War 2 video game soundtrack from Sumthing Else
• The Gears of War: Aspho Fields novel from Random House imprint, Del Rey
• Codes to download the golden Hammerburst and Lancer
• A Gears of War 2 poster signed by members of the development team

In addition, five daily First Prizes will be awarded, which include the soundtrack, novel, in-game golden weapons, and a signed poster.

Sweepstakes Entry
Between February 1 - 13, 2009, registered players will automatically receive one entry (limit one per person per Daily Prize Period) when they log into Xbox LIVE and play the specified multiplayer public match type in Gears of War 2.
Note: Be sure you play a PUBLIC match. Players who register but fail to play a Gears of War 2 public match game will not receive an entry.
Prize Periods
The Entry Period consists of thirteen separate Daily Prize Periods, as shown in the table below. In addition, if you earn a valid entry into all thirteen of the Daily Prize Periods (one valid entry per day during the Entry Period), you will automatically receive one entry into the Grand Prize Drawing. Otherwise, each of your entries will only be eligible for the Daily Prize Period Drawing that corresponds to the Daily Prize Period during which it was received.
