1 Photo in a lot of little photos ...

You know that images where you have 1 big image and it is build by a gang of small images? How is that effect called and is there a program to achive that effect in pretty high quality (for a cd cover?)

Its called a mosaic

I dl'd a program called MacOSaiX....works pretty good
If you gotta pc I dont know which program you should get tho

JUS DO A COLLAGE WITH THE IMAGES THAT YOU WANT AND THEN PUT THE MAIN IMAGE ON TOP TO OVERLAY OR SUMTIN ELSE AND THERE YOU HAVE IT

You can do it in Photoshop. Not sure what it's called tho, but you can find a tutorial on it I've seen it before.

I have not done this as I don't have a grip of photo's to work with... looks cool..
I remember they did this with The Truman Show movie poster when it came out..

yea hit's called mosaic, and all it really is doing is using the overall tone you get from a small image and using that as a value for a square in a larger composition, but like prodigy91 said you could achieve this effect by overlaying the large image over a bunch of smaller ones and using some blending techniques, might not look quite as authentic but unless you want to go to the process of creating the pattern of light and dark by hand that would be your best bet.
