It seems to me that a lot of the people who were interested in this contest for the chance to win a d-sane beat for one reason or another (too cheap or somehow can't come up with the money) wouldn't plunk down the $100 he was offering for his beats a few weeks ago. Now, how is someone who isn't willing to part with $100 for a beat from a producer whom they greatly respect going to get the funds to go to the studio or put together a shoddy home studio to record in? Something is missing in the equation... I think that's why there weren't submissions. The people who wanted the contest because they couldn't afford a d-sane beat normally couldn't afford to record a track either. As for the people who said they were down for the contest and had their own recording setups, I just don't know...
