That pushes me over the edge: let’s tell kids that steroid are illegal and you’ll have to sit out a few games, but then you get to go to Hawaii to celebrate. I think if a player if found using steroids, i.e CHEATING, they should never be allowed to play in an all-star/pro bowl event, period.
Of course it’s been a big issue in baseball as of late, especially with suspected steroid user Barry Bonds nearing the homerun record.
Steroids aren’t only illegal but they are extremely harmful to one’s health. Like Alzado said, man wasn’t built to be 6 feet 2 inches and 280 pounds of pure muscle. Bodies can’t handle the extra weight or the foreign substances for extended amounts of time, and sooner or later, everyone who has used steroids excessively, will feel the effects.
