Upside Drown - Mood Music
If you like Warpaint and Big Blood you'll dig this Oakland duo's cassette release.

There's no winning with a lady gaga track. either it will suck because it has lady gaga on it or it will suck because I'll like the song and it will have lady gaga on it, and then I'll be mad that I like a song with lady gaga on it.

King Krule needs to just drop an album already. shits cool though.
Also, does lil b's backing band have a name? I like how the dude played a ballad on a flying V guitar
Dean Blunt & Inga Copeland - Black is Beautiful
downloaded this around the same time Ariel Pink's version of "Baby" came out since it also has a pretty cool version of the song on it. Just now starting to really appreciate the whole thing. Alot of dubby lo-fi sketches of music.
Foxygen - Take the Kids Off Broadway
Sounds like the Doors, Rolling Stones, John Lennon, with a touch of modern weirdness.

Les Rallizes Dénudés - '77 Live
Been listening to this a lot lately, its some japanese psychadelic noise rock from the 70's. Dirty Beaches fans might recognize the song from this album:

Disc 1
1. Enter the Mirror
2. Night of the Assassin
3. Ice Fire...
honestly, I'm a little disappointed. It feels like it's a Chris Taylor mix away from being a decent album. It seems like this is what Forget sounded like before Taylor put his shine on it. Who knows, it might grow on me, but it just hasn't grabbed me like Forget.
