Exactly if you haven't made a name for yourself, landing an album cover could be bigger than a small payday, depends on you, the business person

With that said he is only a regional artist. That cover is worth exponentially less than a (inter)national recording artist.

Yeah there are people that would do it free, and that's why nobody wants to do graphic design anymore. You should be compensated for your time and work no matter what it is. We all got Bill's to pay. Givin people free graphics work is basically setting yourself up for failure in the future as a graphic designer. Since these artists will always expect someone to do it for free or dirt cheap. If its not you its someone else, and this will make the market very difficult to get paid in this field. You cant de-value yourself or your work. If these niggas are so ballin and can buy a 100k chain and spend a rack on a bottle of cough syrup they should be able to pay for quality design work.

Wax always has quality design. most of his projects are done by shemp of photo doctor graphics. I’m sure wax has a lot of fans who would love to design a cover for him for free. You’re making it something it’s not.
