I was reading the comments of this video and one guy says "If you go on twitter right now you can find footage of that light STILL flashing on a newscast way later." They didn't give a link so take that with a grain of salt.
The light aside, that video is eerie as fuck. It takes like 5 minutes of off and on automatic gunfire before you see anybody acting like something is not normal.

Of course, that is all that happened. His father was labeled a psychopath and shooting 573 people and then killing yourself seems quite psychopathic. Everything else (what you refer to as mumbo jumbo) is all coincidence, if you believe in coincidence. He wired $100k to Philippines the week before, so this probably wasn't about money though.
