Based on his play for the last few years I highly doubt Richard Sherman got scared all of a sudden.
What I wouldn't be surprised to find out is that the coaches have lost the defense and those guys are going at 80% because they are tired of playing elite/dominate defense only to have the offense go three and out on some bullshit plays.
Two big of a discrepancy between offense and defense is bound to cause internal conflict.
Whether it's fair or not they need to fire Bevell as a scapegoat before they lose the D entirely.
I can't see behind the curtain but whoever is in charge of evaluating offensive line talent, whether that's Cable or someone else should be fired immediately.
We have draft more o lineman than any other team since 2010, 15 linemen......which of them have been good??!! Russell Okung? 1 of 15. Unreal. I am not sold on Britt and Sweezy has been average at best.

And you're absolutely right Sherman is a pussy he's literally scared out of his mind of tackling a running back. Never mind he's consistently one of, if not the best tackling CB's in the game, rarely ever missing an open field tackle, nevermind that some say he might even be the best tackling CB in the history of the sport:
