This is the second time in this thread alone you asked a question and I replied with answers to your specific questions, only for you to change the topic or completely forget what it was you were talking about. You said and I quote, "what company owns them? and which news outlets are owned by who?" Once again you've wasted my time.
On top of that, what the fuck are you even talking about man? No bias? Where in earth do you get the impression that I am claiming there is no bias in the media? Re-read my post. Then read it again. I specifically said there is Corporate bias and Power bias. And then you go on to say "dont tell me shit. you can read numbers or you can pay attention to physical life" which is just another example of pure ignorance. You ask questions, I answer providing factual information and your response is to not tell you shit, numbers/data means nothing. I would ask how you're able to learn things in life but clearly learning isn't something you're interested in. Just set in your ways, you know all the answers even of you don't know the answers! One does not simply read a summary of Noam Chomsky. Either you read it or you don't, either you're familiar with him or you're not. Clearly you choose not to and I don't care. I never expected you to read it, just pointing out that books have been written on the very topic of the myth of the liberal media, studies have been conducted, thousands of man hours have been put into this which far outweighs your anecdotal evidence and "real life" experience that the media is heavily liberal. What I can show you is actual hard evidence and facts that prove otherwise but you've already made it clear you are not hearing any of that; your mind is made, facts be damned!
There is only so much patience I have when it comes to intentional ignorance. I don't care if people disagree with me; discussion is always welcome, conversations are often than best when multiple viewpoints are on the table. But when people behave like you are, wasting others time and refusing to engage in a productive conversation, then fuck it, stop talking if you are going to be that narrow minded. thanks for the owner info. but what that easily shows is the handful of corporation entities. im not going to sit and make a list of media (mainstream and otherwise), social media, do field studies, polls, tv show screening discussions and other extensive research, just to make you happy and utilize what you posted. if i was ever to get the appropriate amount of data, i still wouldn't know the owners of the corporations. because then theres so many things to consider. so sorry for wasting your time with that.

as far as the article, looks fucked up if you just read the headline. but all Trumps doin is not letting a $9.25 a month credit be used for internet, from what the article says. he's not taking away Lifeline. if he does, than it's a different story all together. i dont think anyone's even touched the $9.25 a month for the net.

his business works with schools to teach little kids online. of course he wants that contract. but hey, schools, how about not giving mandatory lessons and homework online? not everybody has a computer or online access, or a stable home environment. if you send the kids a worksheet and/or book and even a pen if they dont have one at home, guess what? they can do the homework anywhere! and everybody can do it! i get it with college kids, but when we're talking about little kids, and even high schoolers, the idea runs into problems that wouldn't be there if the kid had a worksheet and pen. so bullshit argument.
again, according to the article, Trump doesn't seem to be taking away Lifeline, just a fairly new revision that no one touched. $9.25 a month is still available for phone service. but im sure there will be protest signs saying "Trump takes the poor's Lifeline".
It's the 21st century bro. Using the internet is a big part of school, and it gets more important as you get older. Times have been changing in regard to that for years. There's nothing wrong with writing on a blackboard, or assigning worksheets, but you're being willfully ignorant if you think there aren't a lot of advantages to being able to use the internet in conjunction with physical homework/classwork.

do you have kids in school? what grades? you see the good that internet homework has, but have you seen the bad? what bad have you seen?
yes, internet should be implemented within school, with schools providing the access. but to think that schools across the state/country should have mandatory homework on the internet is elitist and privileged in my opinion.
