I wonder what will happen when it becomes apparent to Trump that these things just aren't that easy to do? Like even if they get a tax like that rolling it will take awhile to go through the system and get approved, more than likely not before the midterms - which should be interesting, so they could spend a lot of money just to see it blocked depending on how those go.

The thing is if these next two years don't go at very least somewhat decently for him and the GOP by the time something like a border adjustment tax has gone through everything it would have to he could possibly not have the house by then. He could impose a tariff on Mexico but he seems to want to only go at companies that defy him and well that's not how either of those two options work anyways.
