King’s College London was forced to consider an attack on the traditional anthem from one senior student union officer who claimed the song had links to "far Right nationalism".
I'm not going to pretend this is a super serious example, but we are seeing a lot of political-correct nonsense over here in the education system and beyond. For example, Nottingham police recently reclassified wolf-whistling as a misogynist hate crime which you can now get jail time for.
Why'd you brighten the words "forced to consider"? The college hasn't been forced in to anything. You're taking the words of a blog writer for a website as gospel of the way things are.
Literally the only quote from the college that have appeared on multiple different websites has been "we are open to feedback from any student, staff, or allumni". lol
The student union the kid works for don't really even have his back. This is their quote "Mahamed's Facebook post aired a
personal view of his that he wanted feedback on. KCLSU has a procedure to support student led campaigns and any student can use this. KCLSU does not currently have a campaign or policy on the national anthem at graduations."
The article you posted is 100% click bait man, King's College isn't considering not playing your national anthem lol
