shae the whore came back to testify against tyrion...does this mean bronn betrayed tyrion? cuz bronn was sposed to have seen shae off on a ship

when mance and them attacked the wall, why didn't they attempt to breach one of the unmanned castles? I mean, the obvious answer could be to further the storyline for the show, but just thought I'd ask just in case
