So this is the most intriguing fight of the month which you can watch in the day time before streaming the Canelo PPV:



Krzysztof Glowacki is 6'0 200 pound Southpaw from Poland, he's 26-0 and current WBO World cruiserweight champion. He recently beat Steve Cunningham knocking him down four times and destroyed Marco Huck in a thrilling fight of the year match last year.

Oleksandr Usyk is a 6'3 Ukrainian Olympic Gold medallist with a standout amateur career (beat the likes of Artur Beterbiyev, Clemente Russo, Tervel Pulev (Kubrat Pulev’s younger brother) and Teymur Mammadov amongst others). He's only had 9 professional fights, so needles to say this is massive step up for him. Many think he's moving too fast with this fight, but he wants it, which is what makes this fight great - it isn't a mandatory fight, no politics going on behind the scenes, just two talented fighters that want to fight the best. Should be fireworks.




Outside of that this month is jam packed with talent of new and old. Some unfortunately against opponents most people didn't want, but it is what it is. Starting off with the first big fight of the Month, Golovkin vs Brook is intriguing if only to see how well Brook can do at middleweight against the most dominating middleweight on the planet. Chances are almost certain Golovkin wins by knockout, but Brook is a skilfull fighter and should be able to give Golovkin some problems at least early on, the atmosphere in England will be off the chains as well and should be a great event there in the UK. Roman Gonzalez is on the same card, which is always a treat to watch his beautiful combination punching.

And the return of CORNFLAKE!!! Who can't be pumped for that?!

Canelo vs Smith is somewhat interesting, mainly to see how difficult Canelo makes weight or even if he fails to make 154, if so Smith could end up making it a bit of a fight and taking Canelo into the deep rounds. But I wouldn't hold my breath for anything special.

Numerous talented fighters in Japan including Shinsuke Yamanaka and Naoya Inoue.

Right, you'd think maybe that would be the incentive, attempting to be more internationally known or something but nope, there was literally no reason to fight Smith, no one knows who the hell he is. At least with Golovkin vs Brook, the entire reason they took it is because Eddie Hearn, Brook's promoter, offered Golovkin a big deal in England on UK PPV, and that was only after Canelo, Saunderss, Jacobs and Eubank turned down Golovkin, so it was the last option + a great deal in the UK and building his name there.

Canelo could have fought anyone he wanted, but for whatever reason they chose Smith, the weakest link at 154. Maybe it would make sense if he was planning on campaigning at 154, but they are already trying to make a fight at 160 pounds immediately after lol. They want David Lemeuix or Billy Joe Saunders next. It's unreal. He gave up his middleweight belt to Golovkin so he can go down to junior middleweight against a guy no one knows only to move right back up to middleweight immediately after against a guy Golovkin already destroyed or against a guy who ducked Golovkin and even Danny Jacobs. His diva ways are in another level.

Canelo is involved in some of the biggest ppv buys in history! And in his most irrelevant fight with Khan, he got 600k buys. Mayweather doesn't need the UK, Manny doesn't, Cotto doesn't, and neither does Canelo.

As far as who Canelo fighting the weakest link at 154, he already defeated the strongest one in 154 in Lara. So what's your point? And he recently stated he is in no rush to move up to 160. By the way, Tom Loeffler keeps bringing up Froch, Ramirez, and even Ward as if though GGG is not scared of going up to 168. And they won't even offer Lara a fight. That's real diva for that ass

If Mayweather pulled a stunt like that, you would have had a heart attack!

For what, to fight Smith, a guy who isn't even the best boxer in his own family?

Tom Loeffler brought up Froch again because Froch made a statement about Triple G recently, so he responded. They offered Froch a fight a couple years ago, at 168 but Froch decided to retire (that's nobodies fault, he simply was done with boxing). Later Froch was saying he might come back for a Golovkin fight after all, but not at 168, he said he can't make weight anymore and it would have to be at light heavyweight. Loeffler said that's too high of weight, plus this was during the time when they Canelo negotiations were still happening. Why even bother mentioning Ward at all, what relevance does he have to Canelo ducking his mandatory? Copy & Paste response (Ward is at 175, Ward was never mandatory to Golovkin at middleweight, blah blah blah).

Shit, right in front of that gym, fools have been shot and killed! He's in the hood. I had like 3 homeboys go to that and I asked if anyone was trippin off that whole GGG shit and their response was only the reporters. But even they were calling GGG a hypocrite. And the vid you posted up, I was gonna go to that fight since I live not even an hour away and my co worker went to that one and he was saying that of course there was haters, but like 90% was jocking like crazy! Tom Loeffler brought up Froch again because Froch made a statement about Triple G recently, so he responded. They offered Froch a fight a couple years ago, at 168 but Froch decided to retire (that's nobodies fault, he simply was done with boxing). Later Froch was saying he might come back for a Golovkin fight after all, but not at 168, he said he can't make weight anymore and it would have to be at light heavyweight. Loeffler said that's too high of weight, plus this was during the time when they Canelo negotiations were still happening. Why even bother mentioning Ward at all, what relevance does he have to Canelo ducking his mandatory? Lara "or a really good 154 lbr" where, when? Where was the contract? Golovkin is fighting Brook as a direct result of Canelo reneging on his agreement to fight his mandatory in Golovkin, Saunders noped the fuck out, Jacobs said no and the deal they worked on for a month to fight in the UK was for Eubank jr, he bitched out so his promoter Eddie Hearn offered the EXACT SAME DEAL but for Brook instead as a replacement, K2 took it because it was the best deal on the table, the only deal on the table. Where was Lara, where was anyone else? Not offering fights that's for sure. Hell, k2 inquired about James DeGale at 168, but he has a fight with Jack. Now there is a dope fight at 168 for Golovkin and after breaking through the UK fight scene with Brook, it's that much easier make since he's promoted by Eddie Hearn as well. Now at least Golovkin has options in the UK and value, instead of having to chase guys who fight in America who won't fight him like Danny Jacobs and Canelo.

Speaking of Jacobs, the WBA FINALLY said they are going to mandate Jacobs vs Golovkin, provided they both win. Let's see if Jacobs has more balls than Canelo, especially after Jacobs criticized Canelo for ducking Golovkin. Just a couple months ago Jacobs said he needs another 1.5 years before fighting Golovkin and wants a significant pay increase than what he got against Peter Quillin ($1.5m), but now that he will be ordered to fight him, he's going to have to or go the same route as Canelo and drop his "regular" title. Regardless, Golovkin now has more options from fighting Brook - he'll be a hot commodity in the UK so that can either lure Billy Joe Saunders for a unification fight since there's more money in the UK, DeGale at 168, Eubank jr could br revisited and of course Danny Jacobs. Much better position than he was in a couple months ago.

The sad thing about Canelo is he can literally fight anyone he wants, because he is a red haired Mexican and popular as a result. All that big boy talk about Mexicans don't fuck around and that he'd literally fight Golovkin next at 160 pounds because weight is not an issue for him, only to have lied to his fans and led Golovkin on wasting his time. It's sad because he has become every bit the diva Floyd Mayweather was and he's doing shit worse than Floyd ever did, yet you defend Canelo's actions while constantly shitting on Floyd for years. Biggest hypocrite on this forum by far. Even diehard Canelo fans can admit he ducked Golovkin, they can apologize for him saying Golovkin is too good for him, etc. but you won't allow yourself to admit what everyone knows. There hasn't been this blatant of a duck in years, where a fighter literally handed over his championship belt to his mandatory fighter rather than fighting him (after agreeing to fight), and all you do is talk about PPV sales, popularity and other bullshit that has nothing to do with the fact he ducked his mandatory.

What you are saying is something I said and GBP's openly said once Canelo beat Kirkland. There is no secret to what is going on right now. They openly said that and the WBC still was forcing this fight to a purse bid the would pay GGG 50% of the purse. Why would GBP's do that? There is NO secret to when GBP's wanted Canelo to fight GGG
