The McDs a few blocks over is about to get torn down to build another high rise pretty sure that means this area is done with fast food chains outside of sandwich spots, corporatized pizza, and a Chipotle that recently had an ecoli outbreak.
There are four sandwich places within a block of each other over by the hospital which makes sense I guess. Can't we throw a Taco Bell in there though. That's like the only fast food spot I actually miss from time to time.
Man if I was a billionaire, I would own like a 10-story fast food restaurant with KFC, Popeye's, Church's, Wingstop, Raising Cane's, Chick-Fil-A, El Pollo Loco, and Buffalo Wild Wings.
People are more willing to walk for a sammich every day on their lunch break than walk for a cheeseburger. They can survive off the lunch rushes probably from the people that work close by
It's probably because people generally have much better options for slightly more or sometimes even the same price as what those spots try to charge these days.

I walked by there about a week into them being shut down and there were people in hazmat suits wiping down that whole place. Then it reopened, and people still go there, and I know it's probably fine, but no.
