Tywin as we know truly loved his wife so it doesn't make sense to me he'd be like, ah fuck it you raped my wife we cool bro.

Outside of littlefinger & varys no one else in the series seems capable of biding their time for the sake of revenge like tywin, hes a proud & petty man but hes not stupid. he knew when to play his position to ultimately come out on top.

Since when can all Valyrians ride dragons, let alone just anybody? My nigga preston jacobs begs to differ that it IS genetics that decides it.

All ya'll conveniently not mentioning Targaryens are infamous for deformed babies & still births. We know book Tyrion looks way more deformed than in the show.

#TyrionTargaryen #DealwithIt

also cleganebowl is fucking retarded & would be the most fan service thing the show did.

That's not what I said either. I said the Targaryens were a small house in Valyria; Valyria was ruled by its dragonlords and there were said to be over 40 families that made up the dragonlords. They were called dragonlords because they could ride and control dragons. If you read about the history of these dragon riders, it is said they controlled them through numerous ways like whips, horns and sorcery.

That video you posted while cool, right off the bat asks us to assume a dragon rider needs a certain gene, well we already know this isn't totally true since we know dragon horns exist, and a dragon horn will give you complete control of a dragon. This video is focusing on Targaryens and dragon hatching. Dragon hatching is different than dragon riding. Sure, genes/family blood could have everything to do with that, I can dig that. But as far as needing to be a Targaryen to ride a dragon, I disagree.

The Clegane brothers have a detailed history in the books and in the show that was left completely unresolved. It would be bad writing to set up potential for the most epic emotionally charged face off to the death between these two ultimate warrior types then just have them get killed in some other way. Not only that, it's pretty obvious The Hound was resurrected in the books

The Elder Brother of the monastery, while speaking to Brienne, seems to know an awful lot about the mind and soul of Sandor Clegane. Perhaps too much for having only briefly spoken to him as he died.

The gravedigger at the monastery is a large man, bigger than Brienne.[1]

The gravedigger, along with all the other novices, wears a scarf which covers his face. This would have made it impossible for Brienne to have seen the distinctive burns attributed to Sandor.

The gravedigger has a healing injury similar to the one that Sandor received at the Inn at the Crossroads.

Brienne notices the gravedigger bend down to pet a dog, which many readers believe is a hint left by GRRM.

The Elder Brother is very vague while speaking of the death of The Hound. It is possible that he is speaking metaphorically and that he believes the violent and angry version of Sandor has died and now the new Sandor lives on. This is supported by the fact that the Elder Brother mentions that he 'died' on the Trident when he used to be a warrior. In reality his 'death' only consisted of a major life change (as he believes Sandor has taken).

The presence of Sandor's black horse Stranger (now named Driftwood) on the Quiet Isle is another clue. It has been previously stated that only Sandor could lead or ride Stranger as the horse is exceptionally hard to handle.

Some readers consider the fact that Davos Seaworth saw Sandor board a ship named the Prayer during the Battle of the Blackwater significant. [2]

fan service seems to be the name of the game, bastard bowl on deck

Arthur Dayne. Pure badass so glad the show did him justice and included Howland Reed. The dialogue was straight out of the books.

Loved how Jon just wakes from the dead and is like fuck Olly! So satisfying seeing that little faggots neck stretched out.

Tormund cracking small pecker jokes lmao

The shit with Ramsey and Umber:
"Your father is a cunt."
"My beloved fath--"
"Nope. He's a cunt. "

lol that was good but damn, Rickon hostage and shaggy dog died. BTW Rickon is like 40 years old now lol these child actors grow too fast.

What's in the Tower...what's in the box?!? Can't wait for that conclusion.

All in all, HBO delivered

Really? ok

Damn. Think I'll stick to reddit for GoT discussion; shits too negative around here
Yeah, really didn't enjoy it for some reason. Guess it's because they got rid of the plots that I liked and replaced it with even more Khaleesi in peril and small council intrigue. I just want white walkers and dragons and DA KING OF DA NORF and shit.
Feels like they're dragging their feet because they don't have a book to adapt from. Like nothing is going to happen this season that couldn't have been written by some neckbeard on his tumblr 5 years ago. Plus I'm still mad Barristan's dead because I liked the contrast of him trying to keep order with Dany gone, as opposed to Varys and Tyrion who know how to play the game, because it was hilarious seeing this old ass knight in shit up to his neck
Its the writers big chance to show that they can be even better without the book and what have they done to show it? Kill Roose and make the sand snakes way more important than they should be???

The sand snakes have been in like 5 minutes total the entire first three episodes lol the writers are smart cutting their screen time down, weakest part of the show (and books imo).

Dude, Da King of da Norf shit is about to go down breh! You can't just have Jon wake up and instantly be king, takes time, he killed Olly, man, that was priority #1. Priority #2 was "my watch is over! ::drops mic:::" You've read the books, so I'm surprised the pacing in the show is a problem for you, since the pacing in the books, drags on forevvvvvvvvveeeeeeerrrrrrr. How long have book readers been waiting for dragons and white walkers? 20 years lol

Idk man, last two episodes were dope for me and the writing has been better than last season thus far. So much has happened already this season, how are they dragging their feet? Jon Snow back, Umber presumably gives Rickon Stark to Lord Bolton and killed shaggy dog, the Greyjoy plotline is developing, Bran/Tower of Joy Arthur Dayne/Howland Reed, Jon leaves the watch, Sansa hooks up with Brianne, Kings landing vs Sparrow power struggle, Dorne overthrown, Tyrion frees the dragons, etc etc. They've covered a lot of ground in just three episodes.

(I didn't mind.)

WOW@WHAT I JUST READ!

I thought it was pretty cool how "you know nothing jon snow" has come to actually mean something; Jon Snow literally knows nothing.

(Season 3?):

Guess he's just going to remain normal and they're treating his death as an existential crisis; this article I found sums up my thoughts pretty well. Everything I've read and seen led me to believe he would lose part of himself, I guess not though.

Well, we'll see. There is going to be a transformation at the very least. I mean, he killed Olly. Old Jon would never execute a child so in that sense he did lose apart of himself - old Jon is dead. But the core of the person is the same, just like Beric Dondarrion is still Beric Dondarrion. Maybe Jon is special in this regard too (if we believe in the "prince that was promised").

As for the atheist part about it - I think that's probably true. There are tons of religions, some bullshit some seem more real, but what makes it seem real is the magic. Magic exists in this universe - god's, who knows. Also I guess worth pointing out, no life after death doesn't necessarily mean there are no god's...just means you die and that's it.
