Got a plumber at my house cause there was a leak making the carpet wet in the downstairs bedroom. Dude tore out the wall and found all of the insulation full of mold and said someone had worked on this in the past cause that wall had already been tore out and re drywalled once.

I'm bout to cuss out my property manager, when I called yesterday to tell him to send someone out he acted like it was some huge surprise there would be a leak.

mold is no bueno

i am in insurance industry, and anything like that, which was left unattended and not reported usually isn't even covered ( if it is usually only up to $5k)

owner is supposed to report within a week of leak
