everyone sees that shit, if no one was in the drivers seat in the vehicle you can trust that someone in america would have discovered that way before this video
i never thought that 'self driving car' meant, it was like michael nights car on night rider. i figured it meant it was a computerized version of a google maps using car with the same sort of technology tesla uses. if youve ever had a car with a chip in it you know how that works.
edit: the chip in the google car probably understands the programming of google maps and has a programming language that executes certain commands based on what google maps shows them, where they are. google maps has already taken so much knowledge about every street that on your iphone i0s w google it tells you how many feet you have before everything. use all this technology along with the vehicle and you have what is known as a self driving car. it probably drives really slow and mathematically solves the math of the road once again, based on the GPS system, how fast to move, how far/long the road is, where the stops are based on google maps, has sensors on the sides front and back to stop and go when needed, picks up the signals at the lights and taps into them to know when the lights are red and when they arent (think GTA V when you did the level where you hacked the computer to change the lights, except it just acts upon the lights) etc etc. modern engineering bro, if youre wowed by it, get into engineering. when you make computerized versions of vehicles, alot of things are possible. cars are already pretty much able to drive themselves anyway, thats what the newer chipped teslas do but most people want to drive themselves. they just combined that with GPS locationing powered by google, sensors and a chipped car that understands the languaging of the other computers/programs.
