he was undefeated after that accident where his truck flipped over, he had a second lease on life like "maybe ive been blessed to play this game, and bring joy to these kids, maybe im invincible" was giving out balls to kids and shit. with this first loss, it signals the beginning of the end for Cam Newton. No longer will we see Cam Newton's smile on game day, no longer will he be handing out touchdown balls to young fans, no. There is only darkness, and sadness, and the knowledge of his own fragile mortality, and the knowledge that he's not invincible, and maybe there is no plan. Maybe he should just end it all
