naw, shaq was the most dominant player in the league in those years, hands down, no question. mismatch no matter the match up. the only knock on shaq was that he didn't stay in shape and win more chips (shaq's fourth was really spearheaded by d.wade). kobe came into his own only after forcing shaq out.
kobe is an all time great, w two chips that he can rightfully claim as his own.
