thanks for the insight.. havent gone threw all the books yet, so i was just throwing this out there to see what the book readers think.. yall think theres still something Martin can throw at us that hasnt been mentioned yet? will he adjust the end story based on what the masses are saying? even if there close or not

The reason this theory and a lot of theories have a little weight to them is cause it really seems like GRRM doesn't know what the hell he's doing at this point lol. I mean seriously who the hell takes like 5 years for each book. He started this off it was originally supposed to be like 3 books I think, now we're here. He could straight up be examining fan theories at this point, and going off on these intricate arcs and adding shit and changing shit all the time. He's even said stuff like Walter White from breaking bad was his favorite evil character or something and he wanted to add in a Walter White to the new books. Who the hell does shit like that? It's like George Lucas casting N'Sync for the new star wars movie back in the day, lol who knows what could happen when you ramble on for 900 pages each book with ten times as much detail and characters as you actually need, theres unlimited directions you can go
Dunno about webbed feet but they're supposed to be really small. They are swamp people and also reclusive, lots of the stuff other people say about them are derogatory and probably myth. For example, they take offense at being called frog people, although they do eat frogs.

The more I read his work, the more it gets intertwined. So hopefully, there is some method to the madness. I think the problem recently is people who only watch the show, start to extrapolate shit that is only on the tv show because the producers placed it there. For instance, what if Jon Snow is really dead and never comes back? It would blow millions of minds. I'm starting to hope this is the case. LOL

I don't think there really is a method to the madness; I truly think he's lost control of everything or maybe never really had the ability to finish this in the first place. Killing off a character like Jon Snow that's been there since the very beginning would just be ridiculous, his story isn't finished, and finishing it like that would just seal that he's just been writing without knowing the end result or having any end goal. It'd just be really really bad, and the reason it'd be shocking and blow millions of minds is because it'd be like "Wow... we've been following this character for like 25 years and there was no point to his story"
I read somewhere online that he said on his blog a few years back, that he did read comments on forums but that he thought they were influencing his writing, so he stopped.
After reading the Dunk & Egg stuff, I think he is preparing the readers for a huge twist in the next two books (at a Bubicon event last weekend in New Mexico he said he was writing them simultaneously right now). He also said a few characters that have been killed off on the show, will survive through the last book. I have my guesses on who that will be but they are as good as anyone elses.
I think he takes a long time to write these books because he weaves so many characters and events and history in the Westeros world. It must be difficult to edit it and keep all the things straight. Also, I didn't know this but he writes other sci-fi book series and edits a ton of other people's work.

^ I think he takes a long time to write these books because he's not a real writer. A real writer hammers out an outline, has an idea of how it's going to end, knows what they're going to generally do, then they get to work. You hammer out a few pages a day, maybe only a page or two on a bad day, then have an editor clean it all up for you. You don't average like fucking 1 week per page and muddle up everything with borderline child pornography and constant references to extremely fattening food and just add in shit as you go along and start new books within the books and triple and quadruple the volume of your original goal. Fucking neckbeard mouthbreathing fat slob GRRM fuck GRRM fucking fat fuck needs to finish this shit ill slap the shit out of GRRM

That could be or, as they say in the legal world, he could have been a "Red Herring" the whole time. A character to distract all the readers from the important story. Like Ned Stark in the first book/season. But who knows, you might be right. It's still a good set of books and I'm looking forward to see how it ends.
