Dear AlcoholicLoser

Thank you for giving me the chance to talk to you today. There are so many things that I want to say to you and share with you but it basically comes down to this: I’m worried about your drug and alcohol use, and it’s time to seek treatment.

Before you began drinking and using, we were so close. There was nothing I couldn’t tell you, and we always had a great time together. You were my best friend in so many ways, but after years of drinking and drug use, I barely see that happy, fun person anymore. You seem sad, you’re struggling with your health and with the stress caused by using, and every day I see the problems that addiction is causing you pile up higher and higher. I’m worried every day that you’re going to end up in the hospital or dead or in the back of a police car. I want to do everything I can to help you get back to a place of health – of just being okay without drugs and alcohol.

We’ve talked about treatment 100 times before, but today is different. Today, I am hoping you will accept the opportunity to leave immediately to get help. Your addiction is not your fault. You can’t help the chemical changes that take place in your brain when you drink or get high. Addiction is a wicked disease. It changes everything about how you think, what you want, what you love, and who you are. But because it is a medical disorder, there is medical treatment available to help you overcome it. You don’t have to keep living like this. There is help available.

If you choose not to go to rehab today, I want you to know that I will not be able to stand by and watch you kill yourself anymore. I’ve learned that giving you money, calling into work or to your parole officer to cover for you, and a lot of other things that I do for you regularly are only helping you to remain in addiction. If you choose not to get help, I’m not going to do those things anymore. If you do choose to go to rehab, however, I promise you that I will be there to support you and help you in any way I can.

Good idea you can use the savings to repair that schnoz it'll be pretty expensive
Hey, drunkaholic707, what gives? That comment seemed very mean spirited and it could be very hurtful to the person it was directed at. Please try to think about the emotional harm your words can bring to others before typing them down. Try to use positive, encouraging statements and language rather than negative discouraging statements. The people around you will feel more comfortable and confident about themselves, and you will feel the same. Thank you my friend, and please don't take this the wrong way, but this is your second warning.

I signed up for utilities discounts a few months back, got accepted, and I just got my electricity bill emailed electronically and I have $69.95 in credit towards my next bill... wut. 2015 looking pretty good already.
I haven't had to pay electricity since this post in January due to credit owed and now I just got a $285 refund check saying that I use less electricity than I'm given a discount on and they owed me money lol What a nice way to end a long work day.

It appears I am not eligible for Seattle City Light's Utility Discount Program (UDP), because I am not a Seattle City Light customer. I am a Puget Sound Energy customer, and their Low-income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) eligibility states that for a household of 1 persons, the monthly income must not exceed $1,216. My monthly income exceeds this amount, fortunately for me. It's quite unfortunate that there are persons out there that do not exceed a monthly income of that amount; yet it is comforting that they do meet eligibility for this program and can receive assistance.

Utilities discounts ? How they do that there?
Seattle City Light | Utility Discount Program

I make just under the max but when I filed it had been a slow couple months so my hours were on the lower side for those checks and they just look at two months of paychecks. Anyways, even with those lower checks my projected for the year was still on the upper side of the cutoff so I thought I'd get I don't maybe like 10-20% off but hey I'll take anything. It says it goes up to 60% off but then I have now had six months of paying nothing and just got an almost $300 check so I have no idea what the fuck is going on lol

They said you have to reapply every 6 to 18 months depending on variables of when you apply but I haven't heard anything from them yet and they said they will contact you. When the minimum wage goes up again in January and then I get another bump up because of it at the theatre I'm going to then be above the max but hey whatever it was a good ride. Maybe I'll get lucky and be on it the full 18 months or get the notice to reapply in Dec or something.

I wonder if I'm getting a discount for my whole building or something seeing it's a converted mansion. Maybe they still have it labeled as a single family dwelling and I was the first person to ever apply for the discount? lol I honestly have no fucking clue but I shouldn't have been getting free electricity and then a almost $300 refund check that's for sure. I mean I really don't use a lot of electricity at all but still lol

Bought a double stack from Wendy's coming into work cause I was hungry and wanted it. Holy shit @ it being 460 calories lol that's like a pound and a half of grapes or 2 decent size apples or like 90 cherries. Yet I ate it in less than a minute and was hungry again 20mins later
