They aired Cherry Vs. Cruz on ESPN3 before the main event. Not the greatest fight but a nice KO by Cherry in a fight I thought he was losing going into the 9th round. I'm sure Cherry's eventually going to be fed to one of the top fighters in PBC but he's an easy guy to root for, he's never going to be great but his right hand makes him fun to watch.

Willie fucking Nelson God damn haha. I was kinda big on Harrison despite him not always looking that great. I thought it was going to be a good fight but I didn't anticipate it ending like that.

Thurman didn't look good, really disappointing.
I always hate when a prospect that hasn't really made it says "I lost to a guy I was supposed to beat". I was like Harrison too, just hate when a guy does that immediately after getting crushed.

There was a time when I thought Cherry could really become something. Always like him and his long socks haha. He hasn't become much but I still enjoy watching his fights.
Man I remember when he smoked Wes Ferguson and then smoked him even worse on a Mayweather PPV. Ferguson was one of the first guys I remember Mayweather really trying to get behind and Cherry erased him that last time.

I remember. I used to collect all his fights. I saw him on Friday Night Fights and he looked phenomenal, granted it was probably due to the opposition but I was impressed. I remember hearing he was working a full time job or something like that, ai figured if he had a better team behind him and was steered into a better direction he could have become something. It's weird how boxing works out sometimes.

But that's the thing with being under Haymon, we won't know how good Thurman will be. I feel he can beat Bradley or JMM and that would make him a top p4p fighter but instead he keeps getting brawlers that are doing some damage to him as his young career keeps going. He's turning into an old fighter very young

naner12 @naner12 what you know about the Future P4P King, new Pacquiao, Synthol Man?

Look how muscular his chest is. This guy is so naturally muscular, it's insane. Look how fast his punches are, his speed rivals a prime Pacquiao. Footwork and balance like Mayweather. Top 10 p4p within 1-2 fights, bet on it.

Wow..

From wikipedia,

Politics
Kahwagi was a member of Mexico's PVEM political party. In 2000, he was elected as a commissioner of the Mexican Government, and he was assigned to different ventures such as being a member of Mexico's commission on the United States and on Japan.

Television
In 2001, Kahwagi participated in Televisa's reality show "Big Brother 3".

Kahwagi, while serving as a Mexican senator, was involved in a fist-fight with wrestler Cibernético during a television show.

This guy sounds fucking awesome.

Oh he is. He's so good that all of his fights have been thought to have been fixed. Obviously haters are going to hate on the future pound for pound king. Some say he has a Kim K ass on his chest, but they obviously don't know that hard work in the gym produces those kinds of results.

Chavez jr, Too big for 170, too small for 172

Chavez Jr. Misses Weight!

A few days ago, Mexican brawler Marcos Reyes (33-2, 24 KOs) said he was very doubtful that Julio Chavez, Jr. (48-2-1, 32 KOs) would be able to make the contract weight of 169-pounds. There was a max weight of 169, and it was raised to 170-pounds, and Chavez Jr. still came in at 170.8-pounds, and has to lose the additional weight unless a monetary agreement is reached between both sides. He was stripped down on the scale. Reyes was on point, at 168.4-pounds.

The fight will headline a Showtime televised card on Saturday night at the Don Haskins Center in El Paso, Texas.
