I've never understood the whole beef/jealousy issues on Strange but then again I don't know the behind the scene happenings. It's Tech's label, he's the headliner and main act, he's the best rapper, they are his sold out shows, they are his fans who more than likely only know about you because of him, he's the one selling records, he's the one with massive pre-orders, he's the one selling a shit load of merchandise, he's the one working with major artists and getting praise from them, and the bottom line is he's the one who is priority number #1. Granted the other artists deserve promotion, etc, I get that, but it's obvious that someone like Snug Brim isn't going to get the same treatment as Tech does. Day 1 homies mean something but it doesn't mean you get a hand out or are deserving of anything just because. Make a name from yourself and grow a fan base. Make your own money, sell out your own shows, make good music and appeal to fans. Easier said than done, right? I like Skat, Snug and Kutt but I highly doubt they will ever be in the public eye again at the level they were when they were signed with Strange. It's not that hard of a concept to understand.

Tech didn't have to put Krizz Kaliko on his song with Eminem, but he did. I find that to be a huge gesture and a sign of respect to Krizz for being (in my opinion) the #2 guy on Strange and being Tech's wingman. I personally think that Rittz is easily the second best rapper on the label but Krizz is an amazing all around talent and I'm sure he's making pretty decent money.

I remember on Absolute Power, Kutt had a line on Bianca's and Beatrice's talking about himself that went: Heard he just signed a big deal, an estimate 5 or 6 mill/ ...... That line always made me wonder how much he was making.

But like I said, I don't know everything that actually goes on, just my opinion.
What did Kutt say about Tech and Strange? I know he posted a video on YouTube going into detail on why he left, but it didn't seem on no hater shit to me.

I stopped doing EACs a while ago because scene standard changed from V2 to V0 which is what I was doing my rips at. So then my rips weren't any better than a grouprip. Also, it's a lot of work and I'm lazy. Oh, and I didn't buy a copy.
hmm I coulda swore I saw V0 rips on your old blog site a grip ago. Unless your on a 1990's Sony walkman V2 is noticeably worse than V0.
Oh and not much work other than changing like 2 lines lol

Yeah all my EACs were V0 but at the time the scene standard for mp3s was V2. It changed to V0 a few years back so if you download the CR rip of special effects and if I made a EAC of it, the bitrates would be almost identical (i used a few different settings). The work really came in for scanning booklets...also I use a mac so I had to do my EACs in a virtual windows machine that corrupted itself twice over the years. Anyway, I have all my EACs on a hard drive but I haven't done any new ones since ~2013

I don't think this idea is going to leave me alone until I explain it.
Shroud. IF there ever was a video to be done, I think it would be best...
If rob prior did a anime type music video, like the anime dedicated fanvideos you see...
But every time I hear the song I can just imagine a black shroud just echoing through the darkness even the little parts when he's gulping down the black ooze. I just cant see strange pushing maybe upto 500k on actual special effects for one music video and i wouldn't think it would turn out well with B movie type of effects, would be more profitable as an anime type video.

I can see a number of images that could be used for the song. I see a lot of dark green when I listen to the song, but as far as images goes, I think it could be done with a number of different film techniques, not just anime.

I can see an anime video for it, though. That would be dope.

I really love this album. The way it all flows together from front to back kind of resembles, to me, a film score that follows a beginning-to-end format.

Regardless, I really love the album.

Psycho Bitch III is essentially the same beat from PBII, just with the film score's trudging piano overlaid. I really dig the second version of that beat.

And some of the songs sound like entire microscopic film scores. I can't explain it much better than that.

Shroud reminds me of a horror film.

Tech is definitely digging at Skat and Snug pretty hard on the second verse of Burn It Down.

I love Wither.

I'm a huge fan of the album.

The whole thing is a "Rap Opera", IMO. I think it sounds rather... "theatrical"... I guess is the word I'd use.

Psycho Bitch Pt. II was dope but in comparison Pt. III is leaps and bounds ahead.

I don't mind Liquid Assassin but his verse could've been done without. his spot just felt like it was forced and didn't peak like it should have...

as for the album it definitely holds more replay value than his previous effort from front to back.

also, Young Dumb Full of Fun is like the Party The Pain Away of Special Effects. that should've made the retail tracklist.

I have to say that I am disappointed in this album so far. Perhaps I need to listen to it a few more times and see if it'll grow on me. But right now I don't like it and feel like I wasted my money. Should have just downloaded it or listened to more songs on youtube first.
