Peterson strategy was to box early and keep Garcia moving and once he was tired , to use his weight advantage and fight inside flat footed - his game plan was perfect and i can't stand judges who don't know how to property judge the sweet part of the science boxing is more than just KO's and power punches.

I thought Peterson won too, but I don't think he was robbed. Some of the rounds I was giving Peterson I could definitely see a judge give it to Danny because there just wasn't much separating the two.

What more could he have done? A lot more, especially early when Garcia couldn't figure out his movement was clearly frustrated. I'd have given it to Peterson, just don't think it was a robbery.

Peterson was the ring general the whole fight, landed the cleaner punches and made Garcia look foolish a lot. Don't know what more he needed to do...
I thought Peterson looked kinda dumb in there running and slipping, bumping into the ropes, and ducking below the middle ropes especially when he outweighs Garcia with a longer reach. To me he didn't look smart or crafty, he looked scared.

I was also reminded of Canelo and Lara.
and I could tell why Sugar Ray was riding Peterson the whole fight.
Hagler would've had the fight for Garcia.Lol.

^ there have definitely been worse decisions, I just think it was clear who won the fight. Robbery is a strong word for this decision I suppose, but I thought Peterson fought a great strategic fight. And getting too aggressive risks him getting knocked out by Garcia, especially early in the fight. The last part of the fight he was walking Garcia down and being the aggressor. Garcias gotten a couple gifts recently in my opinion.

Lee did nothing to get that draw.Quillin had the harder shots, had Lee in trouble, knocked him down once (second knock down was actually a slip) but simply couldn't close the fight like a winner and so they draw. You tell me if they take away the second knockdown Lee wins the fight? Hell no. This was nothing like when Algerie came back and won his fight. Quillin didn't close properly and it cost him the win.

Peterson beat Garcia but should have stopped showboating and walked him down earlier. He was hurting Danny and you could tell.

I scored it 114-112 Quillin. Scored round 4 even because literally no one threw a fucking punch. Two knowdowns for Peter, one for Lee. It shouldn't have been this hard for Quillin, all he had to do was be a tiny bit more aggressive and he would have won clean, but he was too scared to engage for whatever reasons (I guess he did feel Lee's power after all, shown by him getting dropped). I guess Haymon forgot to give two of the judges their checks, was hella surprised it was a draw. Haymon fighters usually always get the decision so it was kind if refreshing to see, even if I didn't agree with the draw

Was cheering for Peterson, but I had him losing unfortunately. It reminded me of Hopkins-Taylor (first fight). If Peterson went for it earlier, I think there's a good possibility he would have stopped Garcia. In my eyes he needed around 2 more rounds to walk him down and stop him, but alas it was a bit too late.

Lots of talent actually at cruiserweight. Doesn't get a lot of attention though and whenever someone really stands out the inevitable move to heavyweight seems to always happen.

PBC is bringing Marco Huck to SpikeTV in Chicago on 06/12. Probably because BJ Flores is the #1 contender and he's going to try and set that fight up. Be cool to see Huck get a fight in the states.

Do you guys even realize Ruslan vs Matthysse is this weekend?!?! I think Matthysse is going to get sparked. Yeah I said it.

"I know I am only there to win the fight. "I will win the fight at any cost. No one can stop my will. My will will not be broken." - The Siberian Rocky

"These types of fights are what's important because for me the fight and the money, as I've said many times, they're not No. 1. No. 1 is I want my fights to be part of history, and I think this is one of those fights that is destined to be part of history. And that's what I want to give my fans.

"The type of fight that can happen between Matthysse and I is a fight that's definitely going to be remembered forever. I promise this is going to be the fight you guys are all waiting for."
