How does that work? With names and all. Like I know different cross strains come up with hybrid names of the two a lot of the time but like I guess what I'm asking is how do people make something new that is different enough from the rest of what is out there to be able to give it a totally new name. If that makes any fucking sense whatsoever lol.

People do the cat x dog thing because cat and dog are both well known strains and they want erryone to know the geneaology of the herb. But plenty of times people will either get a cross thats not representative of its heritige or even get a really weird phenotype of a well known strain and just name it whatever they want. The only 'rule' is dont perpertrate, so dont call your random strain cookies or jack herer or whatever.
Even though I literally only know what you said on an elementary level for some of that that's kinda what I figured. Wonder how many times people have made the same thing unbeknownst to each other and named it something different?

Can't say I've ever even heard of it but I would definitely try The Roni because that sounds amazing as a 'cheesesteak style' sandwich. Salumi's fucking rules. Everything I've ever had from there is great. Only ever had a sandwich from their actual shop once, and it was really fucking good, but have had platters, homemade sandwiches, etc with their meats lots of times and then of course spots all around Seattle use their stuff various ways.
